UK vadu different, BA checkin desk lo nee indian PP chustadu. Valid western country visa/PR lekapothe flight ekkanivadu. This is not bcoz u going to india but the 2 or 3 wretched hours you spend in UK in LHR airport running around in long queues

bhayyoooo adhe mari... spoke to british embassy ...if you travelling from US to IND and layover in london aithe u need transit visa if you don't have "valid visa stamp" on your passport..

If you have valid visa STAMP then no direct transit airside visa needed.. if you dont have valid visa ante approval letter paina manam pani chestham kadha H1b paina ala unte neeeku transit visa kavaali...it doesnt matter if u inside the terminal or not.. adhi matter....konchamm eee information ni save chesko..next time vere vaalaki cheppataaniki use avthundhiii

Nuvu ekkada pothunavo uk vadiki anavsaram.. terminal chnge avali ante u need to have transit visa or valid US stamp or GC or us/canada citizenship. Ledante ninu terminal lo aapi transit visa apply chepisthadu and you have wait til it is approved (1-2 days)

transit visa lo only terminal ki vere category untundi adi undali. Us lo undi apply chestey it wil take 2 months (expedited service lo 1 week)

i travelle din BA form Londo -HYD 3 times 

every time there are lot of passengers from US waiting to change at London 

evadu seppalede Transit visa kavali ani 
and more over nuuvu Airport nundi bayataki ratanike Transit kavali as far as i know 

Heathrow lo termila change ki internal gaane trains vuntayi

so you dont't need any transit visa

8 days vunna.. valid kadha bro. I travelled once with one month validility from US to India via london. You dont need transit visa.

nee enkamma.. already valid 8 days undi annav kada.. malli aduguthav endi.. lekapothe change the flight route.. emirates or something else teesko easy aithadi..

cheppalem kadha bro min 2 weeks undaali anna antaaaru... so I spoke to UK immigration they told me that the person should have valid unexpired US visa stamp on the passport . so in my case its unexpired a.. endhuku ante if something goes wrong they have to send the person back to US so appudu valid visa untundhi and can return to US ani edho sodhi cheppindhii.
