Hyd Engineering Student Raped Teen Girl!

Three engineering students, in Hyderabad, was taken into police custody on Wednesday, in connection with a rape case of a 16-year young girl while the main suspect, named Harish, is on a run away.

According to the police officials, a girl who's pursuing her diploma in Ghatkesar, Hyderabad was coercively taken to a nearby Hukkah parlor, by four of her engineering friends Harish, Ajay, Sameer and Hemanth, and was forcefully raped on 2nd November in Hyderabad City outskirts.

In a police complaint filed by the young teenager and her father, they allege that Harish, with help of his other friends, took her to an isolated place and raped after consuming high amount of alcohol at hukkah center. While the girl was sent to medical examination, Police officials are on look out for prime suspect Harish.

In response to their complaint, the Police unit have registered a case under section 376 (rape), 366 (kidnap) of IPC and few more sections of POCSO Act and SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Apart from the four students, the hukkah center owner Abbas was also taken into police custody for interrogation.
