Sant'Agata dei Goti is a town 35 km NE of Naples, in the Campania region

It has a very ancient history dating back to the Samnites, about 400 BC. It lived stages of development and decline. The village was inhabited by Samnites, Romans, Huns, Normans, Goths; However, but nowdays most of the monuments visible are mainly Norman or French, in fact, the village belonged to the De Goth family from which probably it takes its name.
