even if govt changes decision it is not incompetence. it is taking decisions in real time. this move is unprecedented in scale and there is no reference point to follow. obviously the execution wont be smooth and perfect.

printing of notes does take time. its not like ur normal printouts on a printer. thats why they printed 2000 first. how can all new notes be ready ib such a short span of time

Keeping aside if notes ban will really cure black money problem or not. This initiative will drive more people towards digital accounts and transactions which can be tracked more easily and has less chances of fraud. It also puts some doubts into fraudsters minds. They might find a loophole but they will always live in a fear because of this initiative. And finally much needed correction to real estate prices which will make housing affordable to atleast few middle class people.
