I'm in dire need of new laptop. Old one is dead.  Contemplating on 7th gen i5 vs i7.  Atleast 256 gb SSD.RAM min 8GB. Highly confused as the price diff is $150. Don't wanna go for overkill. Budget is $500-$600.

Mostly will be using for browsing, learning programming, Looking out for durability too 4 years span.

Lenovo flex 4 is in the bidget range but I'm skeptical as my previous lenovo experience was horrendous.

Pls suggest . I lost black Friday window, dinn expect old one would die out anytime in next 6 months.

I am in same situation as you are now. I had custom built gaming laptop 5K USD, broken now. I have decided to go for Dell XPS, second hand after searching.

Don't go for Lenovo. Try second hand or refurbished with warranty (2015/2016 built). Some refurbished ones provide 2 years warranty too.

You mean Dell XPS refurb?  XPS is surely tempting though.

Lenovo i'm very skeptical. Their support isn't good.

Yeah, It is notebook and has good configuration that you are looking for. New one would be over the budget. Elaagu 2 or 3 years later Specs standard will change in the market. Then you can think about going for high-end when you have good budget. Just my two cents.

Dell outlet check chey. Dhantlo konchem expensive undocchu. Try sites like tiger direct. Quick one for you in your range (it included new ones as well) .

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Category/guidedSearch.asp?CatId=17&sel=Detail%3B175_1099_32575_32575,Price%3BPrice6

Bad, it doesn't have xps, but has some others in your configuration and the price.
