The thing is it's very difficult to revoke rules that have gone through all the whole process -- from initiation till approval . Some one has to prove that it's literally effecting their jobs. The last time they file law suit against DHS on H4 EAD, they were unable to prove anything...So even if law suits are filed, still they have to prove it...only less than 50% are in STEM category under H4...So they are going to make strict rules for H4 EAD's and H1's and extensions....but they are not going to cancel any rule that has gone through public comments etc...without any valid substantial proof ...Outsourcing companies are definitely going to be affected, (those coming from India)...He has changed his stance over H1B's several times within the past few months...It takes lot of time to revoke rule....Firstly he will concentrate on deporting Illegal etc...By the time he comes to revoking any such rules, it's definitely going to take couple of years...Also H4 EAD's are potential sources of income for the attorneys as some of them apply through them...So even the attorneys will be against this...as it effects their source of income ..just like I140 EAD rule...All these posed by IV are just rumors and is a good marketing strategy to gather funds...I haven't seen them doing anything till now except collecting funds...and organizing these calls to generate even more..

How many H4's have you seen working in these? Did u ask them their status? Majority of them are GC's/USC's. H4 EAD's will most likely be limited to STEM field, but won't be revoked.

 Contrary to popular belief, H4-EAD was not part of Obama’s EO. Since the H4-EAD went through the rule-making and was not part of the Executive Order, it cannot be revoked at the strike of a pen. It cannot be revoked without a proper rule making process. Having said that, we are not saying that H4-EAD rule cannot be revoked at all, it can happen but the chances of DHS/USCIS going through the entire rulemaking process again to revoke the rule are slim.

 

 

Serious and concentrated efforts on H4-EAD rule making started way back in early 2011 (1615-AB92). But it didn’t make much progress during the initial period. The rule was reintroduced in 2012 with the intent of proposed rulemaking to happen in 2013, but it was further delayed and the final comment period ended in July of 2014. USCIS could have released the rule in a few months following the end of comment period but Obama’s executive order in Nov 2014 held it hostage for a while. The rule finally became effective in May 2015, about 4 years after the rulemaking was originally initiated

A president has power to revoke any law with signatures from group of executives which is very simple.

So wait till Jan 20 th you will see results DACA and H4 ead are gone and don't ever think about it . save my message in your inbox
