BBCI gives clarification regarding services for IPL fantasy league...

 

CLARIFICATIONS 1. Is there a set format for us to provide the relevant details? Specifically, for Budget and Fee breakdown. a. There is no specified format.

2. Is the expectation to build two versions of the game – Daily and Classic? If yes, then would you need separate quotes for both? a. Yes, two versions of the game – daily and classic need to be developed. There will be one quote. The Interested Party should give a breakdown of costing for each of them.

3. Is there a provision for us to use data feeds from other sources for scoring and point calculation? This will help in smooth integration and handshake of the game engine with the data feeds. a. BCCI will facilitate the scoring data feed.

4. Given the tight timelines, is there any flexibility around some of the features of the game that you have listed out? Things like online voting and rating system maybe a stretch for 2017 season. a. Yes, we can phase it out through mutual agreement.

5. With regards to hosting, for the sake of scalability our game is architected around AWS and hence we prefer to host the same. Would BCCI be open to this? a. Yes

6. When you say that the source code needs to be handed over to BCCI after the end of the term or termination, do you mean complete handover of the code or providing a perpetual license for using the relevant code base. a. Perpetual license for using code base.

7. We would like to explore the option of discussing certain terms of the Services Agreement and SLAs attached with the RFP. Wanted to know BCCI’s stand on the flexibility of the same. a. Per the RFP BCCI will not negotiate the terms of the Services Agreement or SLA.

8. Also, does the agreement need to be executed at the time of submitting the proposal or is that something that we can do once the shortlisting is done. a. Section 3.2 provides that Interested Parties are required to execute and deliver two originals of the Service Agreement as part of their respective Proposals. As contemplated in Section 8.2 BCCI will attach to such Service Agreements the agreed form Budget submitted by the successful Interested Party. Two originals of the Service Level Agreement should also be executed and delivered to BCCI with the Proposal.
