The Indian Premier League is all set to begin on April 5, 2017. VIVO IPL 2017 marks the tenth year of the domestic tournament that is taking the world by a storm. As accustomed, the IPL 10 has its own theme song or the IPL anthem, which was released by Sony Max on March 1, 2017. The song celebrates ten years of IPL and has been composed by the dynamic musical duo, Salim-Sulaiman. Voiced by Benny Dayal, the IPL Anthem Song is full of energy and one of the most vibrant celebrations that have been seen in the recent times. VIVO IPL 2017 is set to begin in Hyderabad, and a total of 60 matches will be played over 47 days in this season of the Indian Premier League. The IPL Anthem song has a tag line of #10SaalAapkeNaam. Sony Max unveiled this song, which was later shared by Sony Six official handle, composer Salim Merchant, etc. The IPL 10 song is one minute long and asks people to celebrate the ten years that they have been loyally following and enjoying Indian Premier League. The song is clearly dedicated to the loyal followers and fans of IPL who have transformed the tournament from a mere annual cricketing event to an important sports event above other domestic leagues. Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) on Monday acquired the services of Kings XI Punjab's pacer Shardul Thakur for the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The fast bowler was bought by Kings XI Punjab in the 2014 players' auction. This is the second trade done by RPS after having secured Delhi Darevdevils' batsman Mayank Agarwal. The 2017 edition of IPL will feature eight teams and is scheduled to start on April 5 and finish on May 21 with Hyderabad hosting the opening match and the final. This will be the second edition of IPL for the Pune-based team. While Mahendra Singh Dhoni led the team in 2016, Australia skipper Steve Smith will head the outfit this year.
