i am also talking about PT EMBA  which in my wharton example costs 170K for 2 years where you will need to attend classes on friday/saturday.

when some one is in that age 29-30 most likely they are married/trying to get married and start a family. So imagine the kind of stress it adds on you to do a full time job and also an MBA on weekends and provide for the family.

and even if AGI is <130K the 2k deduction is no where close to easing your financial pain

I am talking about PT regular MBA not PT EMBA. PT regular MBA costs 120K max and only offered in few top Univ. PT regular MBA age is 29-30. EMBA age is 35-37. They don't call it PT. They call it EMBA. For EMBA there is no concept of FT and PT.

I agree for EMBA. I am talking about PT. All my research and experiences are only in PT. I still think while in H1, better option is PT. EMBA needs planning/loan/family compromises and most importantly at least GC.

EMBA is a waste of time. I will go a PT MBA and nothing else, if not if I can get my citizenship via MAVNI next year I can even think about going for an FT MBA.

Another option I have considered if I were to get a citizenship is to go do a JD in a law school, and explore options with a career in law.

I am older than 30, do you think it's going to be tough for me to do a PT MBA. I mean to say, would I be discriminated against due to my age being 33 instead of 30 when it comes to doing an PT MBA?

No bro. Not at all. I believe you have 760 GMAT. That beats everyone else in PT MBA and gives you great advantage. My only suggestion is do it sooner rather than later and build your career path that you wanted
