Bangalore: How many of us have love for dogs? Even if we do love at the most we can have one or max two dogs for security of our house. But who is that man who raises hundreds of dogs? Is he mad?

 

Rakesh Shukla is a special dog lover. He is raising 735 dogs and turned a godfather, sorry Dogfather to his canine friends.

 

45-Year-old Shukla works as a Software Engineer and after touring the world and leading luxury life, he realized nothing could give him real happiness. In 2009 he got a dog to his home and he found happiness in raising the dog. That love grew strongly along with that dog. After 3 months he got home a street pup and he found that dogs are where his life is and started adopting all abandoned street dogs.

 

He went off to rural outskirts of Bangalore and took a large area which is now famous as Dog Farm. Per day he spends over 50k for his dogs and of this 90% is his own savings and earnings. Rest comes from animal and dog lovers of the city. 

 

Let us at least salute this man for his undying love for man's best friend!
