Are people forced to talk Telugu in Hyd? Please force them. Or atleast Urdu. Otherwise, Bangalore lo force chesina ee lanti rules tappadhu.

Force means, not through legislation or political means. But something that happens organically, through citizen participation.

may be, Urdu will save Hyd from these kind of political decisions. Who knows.

No way bro...We have a different situation in Hyd...people have been talking Hindi, urdu-hindi, urdu, telugu(multiple-slangs) for decades now.

The only reason why kannadiga situation won't come in Hyd because of language culture. People do not own telugu here and we welcome other languages. Pichipatti..maa basha thop ani dappu kottukuntalemu ikada...anni bashalu samaname ani cheputunam..ade difference entire south indian cities ki...Hyderabad ki...

and..there is no language barrier in Hyd...people from all four corners come here and will find language as no barrier...Unlike tamil in chennai, telugu and kannada in B'lore..

Desha basha landu telugu lessa ni chepukovadam manchidemo telvadu kani...migita bashalu anni modda ani chepudu ae matram manchidi kaadu...

TG movement is totally different. You are comparing apples and oranges.

Na bro..nothign as such will happen in Hyd. TG movement is best example that we are not ready and we are different from the coastal region ani chepadaniki...not just after 2000's but historically we are not same. Andhra Pradesh was formed on the basis of Telugu...but, In telangana, telugu is one of the language, not the only language. 

That was the biggest happened..A social experiment..suffered for 60 years before being finally divorced. It should not have had happened in the first place. Linguistic basis mida state form chesinaru...kani, Ikada telugu kakunda vere languages anni matladutaru. 

But in case of Andhra, They don;t speak anything else than Telugu...telangana lo multiple languages matladutaru, that defined its tradition and culture and we do not have any proud that we speak telugu..but we are proud that we accept multiple languages and we understand multiple languages.

If you love your city, you have to be aware of such things. You can't blindly believe that your city is impervious to local politics of this sort.

ofcourse, Hyd is way better than Bangalore. Has longer history, and culture, and more people who own the city. Telugu people are not as linguistic chauvinist (generally) as the kannadigas. But still. we must be aware.

Infact, an observation

Have you ever wondered the name telangana and the name telugu ? 

telangana is derived from trilinga desha...between three rivers of godavari, krishna and penna...the region is knows as telangana.

and the language we speak is telugu..and we own this language and our language has evolved over centuries..

Tamil nadu lo tamil

Karnataka lo Kannada

Punjal lo punjabi

assam lo assamese

bengal lo bengali

maharastra lo marathi

orissa lo oriya..

manipur lo manipuri..

gujarat lo gujarati

in the same way, Telangana lo telugu...a basis mida Telangana..telugu ane names vachinayi..anthe kani, andhra pradesh lo telugu edikelli vachindi bhai ? evadana invest chesindi idi kani...vachindi kaadu...

Anyway  this rule is not implementable, and cannot stay for long. People will find ways around it in Bangalore.

Agreed. Anything can happen in future. And we cant be 100% sure. But odds of that happening are less in hyderabad case
