Cash crunch will ease from next working day.

Banks will do their regular business and gradually limits would either be increased or removed.

Simple reason...From Jan 1st onwards, there will not be huge lines because cash deposit of old notes has ended and only people who withdraw money will visit the bank and so bank staff will be able to manage the cash on a daily basis depending upon the supply and need, either cash limits will be increased or removed.

and when it comes to small scale industries, yeah, there is a crunch but they aren't dead. Small industries can now avail loans collateral free...on government's promise a loan of up to 2 crore rupees from existing banks, Much needed push for MSME and SME's. This is the sector that employs a huge number of people and after creating a cash crisis, govt. is finally pushing this sector with abundant finance at cheaper rates and no collateral on government's promise.

Chill guys, it has affected but making a huge cry that SME is dead..business hit..blah blah..yeah it happens and it's not going to be ever like this.

Do you guys remember when Govt invited multinational retail companies like Walmart etc to open a business in India, everyone complained it will kill street vendors and local grocers...But now after a decade, it doesn't seem to be the case. I haven't seen not even one local grocer closed their shops. This phenomenon is called as a stereotypic feeling and we are good at it,

As if by magic right...abracadabra..dabracabra...

SME's are dead completely..but they are on the verge on death.

No matter how rosy the picture is painted..situation on the ground is pretty bleak..

it was evident from Mr. PM's speech..

bank auditing veru, IT auditing veru.

Now that all the bank accounts are attached to aadhar number and PAN number, all the information is being shared since the last few years.

This was minimal and many people even received IT notices for imbalances in income filed and bank receipts. This has been a common practice and it is nothing new but IT dept had little info regarding the tax evasions as most of the info was untraceable and was not through the proper banking channels.

Now, The money is well within the bank system.

Its very simple now, File your income properly, file your taxes accordingly. very simple.

If not, keep waiting till the tax man reaches your door step and remember, You now have a unique identity complete with fingerprint and iris scan. You can only run, but not for ever.

all bank accounts are not linked to aadhar. Just PAN numbers.

you are in your own dream world about the efficiency of the 'system'.

Even though I don't have an Aadhar card, nor am I an Indian citizen, if what you say pans out, I'll be among the first to help Indians take down this monstrosity. to destroy Aadhar.

Stop gloating about tax man having people by the balls. Its obvious from your blase attitude to tax harassment, that you've never seen a taxman at work. the entire claims system is not as seamless as you imagine it to be.

I've no idea how salaried class can avoid paying Income tax. Or are you talking of other forms of tax that people avoid, like capital gains? It seems you have no clue about how tax systems work. Perhaps people like you are advising Modi, to torpedo the entire system, just so they can have a few laughs at people's expense.

Android Halwa,

If you are talking about self employed people evading their taxes, pls talk to your neighbourhood 'entrepreneur' in the US. You'll be surprised how many of them actually pay taxes.

So pls stop cheerleading Modi's idiocy.
