Indian politics starts mirroring America's

“Sixty years ago, India wasn’t a powerful nation on the world stage but even then, the leaders had something to say, they had a voice. Today, when our socio-economic, political, strategic clout is greater, at this moment, when our prime minister speaks, what he speaks is a poor, faded copy of what other powerful nations speak.”

Good, thanks for changing the title...

ippudu cheppu ni bhadha...

no badha. The speaker explains how Indian politics has been subsumed by entrepreneur politicians, and appeals for bringing back traditional politics (including Hindutva).

I extrapolated it to give that title, because Indian politics has started to resemble US corporate politics. With no concern for the poor.

There are some unsatisfied and frustrated people who expected something from government and failed.

99% failed. 1% succeeded.

But frustration has a limit. It has a ceiling above us. We have come too far in self rule in just 70 years and we have uplifted 300 millions out of poverty which itself is a great achievement. There are millions more and when we started, we barely had anything...and in a country like in india, change is happening but it takes time.

Just imagine, even if the goby hasenough budget to build toilets all over India, it would take a decade to build even if it's done on priority and emergency basis. That is the size of India.

Few potholes on national highways than before. Better airports and train network than before. Better quality and connectivity with life than before.

But if you consider India as developed nation and compare with western partners, it's a wrong comparison.

India is a developing nation. And we will be a developing nation for another century. That's the size of the nation, area wise and population wise.

You need to have a outpace on the nation, not just comparing with America and say we are nothing.

America..took 240 years to be here today like this..Britain has been there for ages..

India is just 70 years young and imagine the country would turn into after 250 years...much better than what America is at 250 years.

Grow up guys. Quit the habit of comparing India. It's unique and we are different and there is no match to a country like India.
