Shocking all, Andhra Pradesh government has announced closure of all Telugu medium Schools in all the municipalities of the state. The decision taken by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who claims to be 'Torch Bearer' of Telugu language triggered huge protests across the state. 

The state government has issued orders instructing the education department to convert all Telugu medium Schools into English medium from next academic year. 

The teachers' associations and student organizations alleged that Municipal Administration and Urban Development minister P Narayana conspired to weaken school education in government sector by closing all Telugu medium Schools and promote his Narayana schools in the urban areas in Andhra Pradesh.

Narayana schools are established in every municipality and are fleecing gullible parents by luring them with high quality education. 

Teachers' associations threatened to go on indefinite strike if the government did not withdraw its decision.

English medium schools is the best option i believe but even though Telugu should be a mandatory first language like Tamil in tamilnadu govt schools.....it should not be a optional subject for Sanskrit or Hindi..

Asalu telugu medium govt school lo chadivedi these days only poor kids. Vallaku repu jobs ravu and english lo unna documents evi vallaku artam kavu, they can be cheated very easily. already anni offices lalo documents paper work ippudu english ki change ayyay in telugu states, earlier telugu lo undevi forms or documents dheenni matram evadu aapaledu. society lo in equalities undoddu specially education lo, poor people telugu medium lo chadivi future lekunda povadam anedi chala sad. English mediums help. Telugu medium schools kada man not Telugu language. It's okay. Telugu medium chadivinavallu future lo Chala kashtapadi paiki ravalsosthadi.. English is main everywhere. Good move by CBN. Telugu language Matram unchali..
