CS `exposes’ TG’s discrimination towards Daliths

The outgoing Telangana Chief Secretary K Pradeep Chandra, who was retired last Monday abruptly within a month of his elevation, has expressed his discontent towards Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s `discriminative’ attitude towards being extended to dalith officers. Speaking at a farewell function organised to him, unusually after four days of his retirement, he deplored that “I came in first down, but run out without my intervention, of course I don’t bother”.

It may be recalled that he was elevated, a month ahead of his retirement with a promise of to give three months extension for him. Though the government till now claims that it was due to centre’s indifferent it was unable to extend his service, the officer with a excellent track record of service exposed that it was Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who didn’t want his services further. He also didn’t hesitated to reveal that his untimely retirement has led to give an impression that efficient Scheduled Caste officers may not be recognised in this government. Cautioning that such an impression would be disastrous to the government, he politely advised the people at helm of affairs to realise on the need to avoid such slander. Referring gross injustice done to him, he said that he has been receiving phones after his retirement from all sections. Indicating that Chief Minister was responsible for his fate, he alleged that someone misinformed Rao stating that he has no proper knowledge on finance department.
