Gautamiputra Satakarni: Nandamuri Balakrishna's film gets U/A certificate

With every passing day, expectations for Gautamiputra Satakarni doesn't drop a number and it is one of the most anticipated films of 2017.

As per the latest reports, the Nandamuri Balakrishna-starrer has cleared the censor formalities and has been given a U/A certificate.

 

On December 27 last year, the audio launch of Gautamiputra Satakarni took place in Tirupati with the presence of eminent personalities like Andhra Pradesh N Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister of Urban Development Venkaiah Naidu, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Hema Malini and Shriya Saran.

Directed by National award-winning director Krish Jagarlamudi, the film chronicles the life history of Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni.

The trailer, which opened to great response from fans, has earned close to 6 million views on YouTube. Needless to say, the grandeur visuals are a delight to watch.

Also, it is touted that the climax portion will feature over 1000 junior artists, 300 horses and 20 chariots.

The film also stars Shriya Saran, Hema Malini and Kabir Bedi in important roles and the music is composed by Chirantan Bhatt.

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Krish teamed up for the historical entertainer Gautamiputra Satakarni. The prestigious film made as Balakrishna's 100th is slated for Sankranti release. Gautamiputra Satakarnicompleted censor formalities and received U/A rating from the censor board, gearing for grand worldwide release on January 12th. The movie is going to explore the untouched era of greatest and first Telugu emperor who ruled India.

 


Balakrishna's royal look as Gautamiputra Satakarni is garnering a lot of appreciations on social media and Telugu audience worldwide are excited to watch the history of the satavahana king unfold on the big screens. Shriya Saran is playing Vashishti Devi while Hema Malini plays the mother of the king Gautami Balasri.
