The morning after 2 ft of snow, you can see the power cable broken and hanging

View from the cottage

Wet snow layered with dry power, a lot of old & young trees fell from the weight of the wet snow

View of our cottage, had no power for 3 days, the shed is used for collecting dead wood/pruned branches, and is the only source of heat during power outages

The road in the orchard, 4x4 and snow chains recommended, the roads were closed for 6 days

Clearing the snow from the roof before the utility room collapses

Kullu district is across, the Sutlej flows in between, and that's an apple tree, which needs around a 1000 hrs of chill each winter
