వారాంతంలో జోరందుకున్న ‘ఖైదీ నంబర్ 150’ !!!

మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవిని ఎప్పుడెప్పుడు తెరపై చూద్దామా? అన్న ఆయన అభిమానుల కల నెరవేర్చేస్తూ దాదాపు తొమ్మిదేళ్ళ తర్వాత హీరోగా రీ ఎంట్రీ ఇస్తూ చిరు ‘ఖైదీ నంబర్ 150’తో వచ్చేసిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. భారీ అంచనాల మధ్యన జనవరి11న విడుదలైన ఈ సినిమా అభిమానులను విపరీతంగా ఆకట్టుకొని సూపర్ కలెక్షన్స్‌తో దూసుకుపోతోంది. ఇక రెండో రోజునుంచి గౌతమిపుత్ర శాతకర్ణికి కొన్ని థియేటర్లు వెళ్ళిపోవడంతో కలెక్షన్స్ కాస్త తగ్గినా, మళ్ళీ వారాంతం వచ్చేసరికి కలెక్షన్స్ జోరందుకున్నాయి.

ముఖ్యంగా నిన్న శనివారం, పండగరోజున సెలవు కావడంతో, ఓపెనింగ్ డే తర్వాత ఆ స్థాయి కలెక్షన్స్ నిన్ననే వచ్చాయి. ఇక నేడు ఆదివారం కావడంతో కలెక్షన్స్ జోరు ఏమాత్రం తగ్గదని ట్రేడ్ భావిస్తోంది. మొదటివారం పూర్తయ్యేసరికి పలు చోట్ల ఈ సినిమా బాహుబలి రికార్డులను సైతం బ్రేక్ చేస్తుందన్న అభిప్రాయం వినిపిస్తోంది. వీవీ వినాయక్ దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కిన ఈ సినిమాను చిరు తనయుడు రామ్ చరణ్ నిర్మించారు.

1) Khaidi No. 150: Megastar Chiranjeevi is back and how! Chiru made a sensational comeback into film industry with Khaidi No. 150 that has broken day 1 and week 1 records in many areas.

Khaidi has set a new record for day 1 in Telugu states by surpassing the mighty Baahubali and never slowed down despite the competition. It has put up some unbelievable numbers in its first five days in many territories.

Chiranjeevi stamped his authority over the Tollywood box office as he reentered the industry after a long gap of ten years. Going by the collections trends, trade says that it will have solid run for few more days.

2) Gautamiputra Satakarni: The historical war drama starring Balakrishna did pretty well in its first weekend. It gave stiff competition to Khaidi No. 150 and raked in handsome collections over the Sankranthi weekend.

It has exceeded expectations in US by collecting over Million Dollars. It should be a safe/profitable film for all parties involved as it will continue to mint money for at least a couple of weeks from now.

3) Shatamanam Bhavati: Sharwanand’s family drama took a decent opening in spite of two biggies in the market. Dil Raju’s banner value and Shawa’s recent track record ensured good start for the film.

Dil Raju must be hoping that it will have an edge in the coming weeks as it was the late entrant among the Sankranthi releases.

4) xXx: Return Of Xander Cage: Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut opened to lukewarm response from the film lovers. Its business in multiplexes was below par and the word of mouth is not encouraging either.

5) Constable Venkatramaiah: Ambitious R. Narayana Murthy entered the Sankranthi race hoping that his film would appeal to the mass audience.

The film couldn’t get decent number of screens in Telugu states and the collections have been pathetic in the centers that it managed to get a theater or two.
