that is very hard to get that special H1B , you have to be top Phd working in National interest issues and you have to be in their radar to be hired by dod. Ade mavni through clearance unte you can solicit such opportunities and get them easily

Now the DoD has come back and said that they can't do anything on time and so have given up on this program indirectly, Army says there's nothing we can do about it. When you enlist, you take an oath on the US flag and also sign a contract. That contract should be respected by both the parties. 

Mana side manamu respecting the contract, but DoD behaving worst than a 5 year old. Guess that's always their nature, ippudu clear ga bayata padindi.

Not necessarily but yes it's possible. There are some MAVNIs who have PhD qualifications, and they can possibly work for DoD in the future. 

Plus there are other fields like Cybersecurity, Cryptography etc which need security clearance which most immigrants don't necessarily have.

Yes DoD have lost all the respect if people had any to begin with via their actions. MAVNI forum undi facebook, some people's stories are quite sad. 

Okadu valla dad funeral ki kooda poleka poyadu ee daridrulu delay cheyadam tho, plus one lady said she postponed her pregnancy plans due to this background check. Now inspite of clearing all background checks, DoD and Army just wants to drop 4300 like hot potatoes.

MAVNI program was introduced to hire Medical professionals for the army and some foreign language experts..

DoD scientists category has nothing to do with MAVNI...

I don't want to be DoD scientist, but I want to be a DoD contractor. but I don't want to live in the US. and I don't want to give up my other citizenship.

Citizenship kosam ani kaadu man vallaki US odili pothe return ravatamu kashtamu don't go ani US Army recruiters chepparu. Vallu cheppinatte veellu ala undipoyaru, of course I agree not being able to go to dad's funeral is just too much. But we don't know what their financial situation is, so it's sad.
