Though Nandamuri Balakrishna is loving the success of his newest film, Gautamiputra Satakarni, in home ground, he is all fixed to leave for the United States to thank his NRI fans — what with the movie being received well overseas, making it one of the finest movies abroad, for Balakrishna!

“Krish had approached me with the complete plan and whole conviction, and the very similar day, he well-versed me that he plans a Sankranti release for the movie,” says Balakrishna, speaking about the trip from the start.

“He described a few lines of the script. As we had very few momentous facts about Satakarni, we added fictional scenes to back those evidences,” expands the actor.

Healthy competition

Speaking about the Sankranti release and conflicting with Chiranjeevi’s movie, he clarifies, “We first publicized that it will release on Sankranti. In my view, rivalry is always good as it provides a chance to work harder with all genuineness. Also, competition between movies through a festival is quite natural in the business, and it’s a healthy one.

Individually, Chiranjeevi is the only actor I am very close by. Previously, when I had time in hand, I used to meet persons, but currently since I don’t have the time, I have not been capable to socialise much with the persons in the movie industry,” he remarks, saying that he meets only those with whom he works.

Balakrishna says “I am quite hectic with my community as an MLA, the cancer hospital I run and then my movies. So, I don’t have numerous friends in the industry,”

Balakrishna refers to other actors raising his work and praising the movie on social media, and says that the industry has taken the victory well.

Acting with son and other stars

Tossing light on his son Mokshagna’s debut, the hero says, “We are scheduling to launch him to the year end as he is working out now. He operated as an assistant director for GPSK, but went midway as he had to emphasis on his studies.”

 

Probing into his interest in multi-starrers, he confesses, “Yes, I am planning a multi-starrer with one more actor. I don’t want to disclose his name yet, but I can say that it is a mythical movie.”

Speaking about the movie Aditya 999, a sequel to his previous, Aditya 369, the actor says the movie is on the cards. “The subject is ready and we have to finalize a few scenes. In this movie, I and my son Mokshu will act together,” discloses Balakrishna.’

When will Big B give his nod?

His future film, Rythu, now anticipates Amitabh Bachchan’s nod! “I had met him and he answered positively. He said that he will confer it once he finishes Sarkar. Menwhile, I want to show GPSK to him. For Rythu, we will need closely a week’s agenda from Big B. We will defer it if we don’t get his ‘Yes’,” declares Balakrishna. By the way, Amitabh Bachchan has been presented the role of the Indian President in the movie.

Why so serious?

When questioned why he seems serious always and why persons fear him, he says, “Persons assume that I am a somber man. It is not true. I am a jovial creature and I mingle with persons. Even at home, my children imitate my acting and they tell me their opinions about my movies. For this picture, they haven’t said a single
negative thing,” concludes the hero.
