Whatever Narasimha Rao is being credited with, is the among the same reasons that made him a weak PM, without a vision.

Im glad he left us a legacy...he is the one who gave us India Gandhi..Rajiv..Sonia...Rahul..Vadra who are goingvtake the legacy forward for another decade...

It was not easy to sell to India, or invest in India before liberalisation. narasimha rao started this process, and it didn't help local industries much. India is yet to make their own consumer products. He was helpless, though. He could've been stronger and not accepted any terms for the bailout, and internally restructured the economy by taking away license raj.

MMS took this idiocy to another level. But he did lots of social programs too, so he ends up as slightly better than PVNR.

less said about Modi, the better. His Make in India is the biggest flop show of the decade.

current ills are because of casteist fcukers. Nehru tried his best to keep their voice unheard.

I agree, he should have done a lot more for industrialising India. But no man is perfect. Atleast he set up some good higher institutions.

On principle alone, Make in India is the best idea any PM has come up with. But Modi lacks the administrative skills to make it happen. poor guy. he surrounded himself with dimwits.

Also his foreign tours to promote this Make in India is a very good move. But ultimately a waste of time, because he seems to lack any persuasive skills. Total dumbo.

If I had to rate Nehru, I would say Queen Victoria and Winston Churchill were better than Nehru..so does Lord Mountbatten...
