something is better than nothing. even if this achieves nothing, it doesn't matter.

who says people won't congregate next time, when the issue is closer to their heart? Its a simple show of strength.

first and foremost, You need to undertsand there is very strong central government and a stable state government and any protest will be just a photo oppurtunity.

Jallikattu...if Jayalalithaa was alive and active, It wouldnt had happen or atleast successfull..

TRS agitiation...no strong leader at statelevel and controversy ridden central govt on their way out, the protests yeilded fruits..

Gujjar agitiation..Vasundhararaje was nearing her term and irresponsive central govt...Gujjar protest was a massive protest which India hasnt seen before but its been almost 10 years now and still, Gujjars havent received their quota..vasundhara raje lost her government..ashok gehlot became CM and lost and now Vasundhara raje is again CM but gujjar reservation is still pending...again, when there is a strong leader and stable government, no matter what you do, It will go against you.

I doubt if central govt is really strong at the moment. with the news of job losses I'm hearing about from India. I think 2017 will be horrible for India. But you are right, the time is probably not right for an agitation.

Even the demands are half baked at best. But it is a good testing ground to see if people want to agitate or not. I predict that not many people will turn up at the PK agitation, but few weeks later, somewhere else this movement picks up.

Again, it doesn't matter if its a flop. There's no izzat involved here. AP will remain an awesome place to do business, with a friendly govt inspite of what happens on 26th. except people will congregate on 26th and exchange their aspirations and grievances, and there's nothing wrong with that.

The most important thing is, Is there a sense of victimization among AP youth as Andhras in the hands of an indifferent central govt? If yes, there's no good or bad time to tap into it.
