Exactly man..there is no portfolio which can give you higher return than inflation and interest adjusted.

But there something where one can expect good return, that is called as profit by investing wisely and securely, for say, housing, commondities, metals, etc. depending upon personal interests. Low risk, low returns, high risk, higher returns..blah blah..we have b een reading this for ages now..

What I am trying to say, when you die, why we need die debt free, lets die with couple of million on credit cards and loans..and paid up house.

imagine next life of 30 years..every 4-5 years, try to consolidate all your debts into one huge loan..use up all your credit..build your profile..do it for 4-5 years..buy a house..in 4-5 years..you will fall into debt again..thats good news..you can take up loans again..more credit..more money..more chances to invest..the earlier house you bought, do a foreclosure and sign another house..and you now have huge debt..but an asset too..do it like this..repeat the cycle..refinance the paid up house, use that money for another house..congrats, you got intop huge debt again..take rest for 2-3 years..start to replay with your pay and rents or any other income..see your property prices going up or appreciating..and yeah, now you have an asset and use that asset to borrow money again, invest in another house..go on like that and by 60, you have assets, and few of them would be paid up and few of them still under mortgage..who cares..now, calculate the interest you paid all these years, and worth of the assets you have and most importantly, the amount of debt..and forget about the debt, don't clear it and die peacefully..just make minimal payments and keep waiting for the death...transfer all the paid up properties to your wife or childred and enjoy life, your portfolio is safe..and your debts won;t bother anyone..I mean its just an example..there are manyw ays to invest and get returns..although not every investment should return something, its risky but thats what life is all about..some small risks here and there..

My sincere advice, do not die debt free guys..no one cares if you die debt free but if you can use the same credit for your family and die with huge debts, our mission in life is successful..

Don't die debt free..and once you have money with you, secure assets, who the fkuc cares about credit history..

You are a true inspiration, dont have a hat on now but

Hats off to you sir, let's puck the country uff
