aa blog lo 1st qochen ki explanation icharu... migitha 4 Qs evvaru istharu ? separate ga search chesukovala *7*^

aalu evaro seppudu endi.. neney septha simple 1 line lo :

  • What can Hadoop do that my data warehouse can’t? - You can store raw/semi/un/structured (all kinds of data in HDP)
  • We’re not doing “big” data, so why do we need Hadoop? - same answer as above Q1, plus processing, accessing etc is faster/easy in HDP
  • Is Hadoop enterprise-ready? - Not always, depends on what do you want to do with you data ? If more of analytics, processing, data mgmt need, then HDP can be used.
  • Isn’t a data lake just the data warehouse revisited? - Slight difference and few advs over SQL DWH in terms of processing, agility, security, type of data storage etc
  • What are some of the pros and cons of a data lake? - read above 4 Qs and ans
