I'm just amused that Hyd folks compulsively try to compare their huge city to the smaller Vijayawada. If I was Hyderabadi, I would be dragging people from Bangalore to compare my city with.

If there's growth, Vijayawada will change. Simple.

If they resist change, they won't grow. depends a lot on external factors too.

Of course, I know that. I don't like to compare them either, I merely commented because it seemed like the person being discussed in this thread Vijayendra Prasad seems to have an opinion on that.

Ofcourse it'll help hugely, if there's no powerful landed caste groups in a city for it to grow. So vijayawada achieving Hyd level growth without a dent in privilege for local kamma strongmen is impossible.

May be that's why CBN set the capital outside of vijaywada. Now he should make sure that Vijayawada strongmen don't benefit from Amaravati, for his plan to succeed.

Why will anyone point finger at rohit vemula who commited suicide out of his own frustraton and everyone else blamed it on being a dalit including RG and AK..and now when the truth is out that he is not a dalit but used fake certificates to gain admission, no one raises a question.

The reality is that in Hyd, if any issue is being raised because of caste, people will shy away from talking and thats the same thing happened with rohit vemula too, For political gains, leaders tried to project it as a dalit atrocity, then again they were at a wrong place where it doesnt matter if you a dalit or chow, no one cares and the same thing happened with rohit vemula, no one would even care about it. 

But if rohit vemula was a chow and studying in VR siddhardha college and commits suicide, I can understand how the situation would be. 

So, stop bragging about caste and think of a casteless society or atleast try to, don't glorify casteist idiots..

Amaravathi lo Lands max konesaru Vijayawada batch and leaders. Not a guess or anta news. My friend's dad is big realtor there.

It is dalit atrocity. having double standards for different groups, and putting them through the mental torture of having to fight for basic sustenance. All these qualify as atrocity.
