Praggnanandhaa won the World Youth Chess Championship Under-8 boys title in 2013, and the Under-10 boys title in 2015.[1]

In 2016, Praggnanandhaa became the youngest International Master in history, at the age of 10 years, 10 months, and 19 days.[2][3]

His elder sister, R. Vaishali, is two-times youth chess champion.

Media gave him enough respect, and he's known among people who follow chess, like me. There are plenty of other star players in under 15 from India.

Chess is not a spectator sport. No need to be dramatic.

Chess pays very very less. Nobody is going to watch it broadcast on TV, except crazy people like me.

That's why there's no point in lamenting that Chess stars are not promoted.

Its not a promotable sport.
