Eppadikaina it has to start somewhere.....There are lot of Indians, Brits, Aussies, New Zealand, West Indies, African and European people in USA plus atleast 2-3% of americans interest chupichina kuda this guy will become a cricketing legend who spread the game in USA.

Even if its f lop in near future it will be a hit in long run.... there is no other way.... we have no controls to withhold population and as demand grows these stadiums will become care of address for the Cricket in USA>.

Dont think it as a business venture....think it from a long term vision..

Already decide chesesaru uncle .. its a flop idea in long run..

Americans don't appreciate or warm upto British imports like cricket. Manollante slaves kabatti readily lapped up cricket and die for it, Americans have more self respect and won't ever let a British invented game become their most popular sport.

You are comparing an individual sport with a team sport. Hope you understand the difference between the two.

And tennis isn't even among the top 5 most popular sports in USA. Tennis is still an elitist sport for the most part, not a sport your average joe would sit back and watch over a pack of beer.

Show me one American male tennis player in the top 10 that you saw in the past 10 years.

The last American male to win a GS tournament was Andy Roddick way back in 2003.

Leaving Serena apart, tennis in America hardly has a future now a days.

You don't seem to understand the kind of mass popularity a team sport enjoys vs what an individual sport commands. Any one with a basic understanding of how sports work in attracting advertisers knows this fact.

Please name the top 5 most popular sports in the USA, both team sports and individual sports combined and you will have your answer. These 5 can be named based on popularity and sponsorship/support for those sports at the college level, transition into professional level and the endorsements they receive etc.

Please go ahead and name it. The average joe example was to suggest how well that sport is received in a household and discussed at work, idi kooda teliyani vadivi US lo unnavante hatsoff. Please tell me how many discussions at work place in the cafeteria revolve around let's say Steph curry's performance yesterday vs Djokovic or Nadal winning the French Open. All these are part of the local culture, you perhaps live in a bubble.

I will name them in no particular order

1) Football (NFL and college level both)

2) Baseball (MLB)

3) Basketball (Both NBA and college level)

4) Ice Hockey(NHL)

5) Soccer (MLS)

Please show me statistics that point out otherwise, and show me one individual sport that comes close to matching these above sports popularity?????
