I just ordered one, hopefully I will love it enough to keep it. I want it mainly to read technical books uncle, thinking of learning the following:

1) Machine learning

2) IaaS, PaaS and SaaS

3) Learning "Golang" programming language

4) Data Science books.

It would serve my purpose as long as I can bookmark stuff I read. I think I can do that on Kindle paperwhite. Problem with paperbacks is that they are getting too expensive and also it's tough to carry them around.

yes you are right. Kindle app is good, but one issue I wanted to find out about is for long time reading tablet okay na or would it strain the eyes?

Thing is E-readers work on light that's front facing so they minimize glare on your eyes and reduce strain whereas tablets work on light that comes from the back of the tablet so they have that glare you can't avoid. Anduke asking, I am talking about reading like 30 hours per week or so.

If you want bigger size go for nook.

Currently I do that, I read a lot of books on my laptop using Kindle app. But eReader can't be replaced it's got it's own purpose.
