It seems the downfall of a family run business has started.

It is the same company which has ruined brilliant brains of an entire generation and make them feel that they are only good at IT and nothing else and since then an entire generation has been doing the same thing and decades later its very old founder says India does not innovate. How can India innovate when brilliant brains are either getting trained in Bangalore and getting ready to be exported out of India for work as cheap labor ?

This is such a shameless sick company and doesn't deserve to exist. This is the company which has abused and killed the US visa system. This is the company which has completely destroyed work place environment.

And it seems days have neared for Infosys. Its going to be either merged or take over by another firm.

Things keep on chaging demograhically...1950-1980's, as we are standing on own feet, there were so many public sector jobs which has driven the job market..after that, private industries driven the growth...then came the outsourcers who drove the growth, not its time ti get to next level..

IT has the ability and provided oppurtunity for two decades for a million Indians...but it can't feed 1.2 billion..

and with this trend of IT, we completely lost our thought process and our brains became rotten and we are now used to take orders..but can't think of making new or innovate better..

Although Infosys abused US visa systems, rest of it is nonsense. Nobody forced those brilliant brains to join Infosys/TCS. I believe nobody can stop a man from succeeding. It should be more like complacency.

On a brighter note, the economy of metro cities in India boomed mostly because of the IT industry. It provided easy employment for thousands and raised Indian economy.

I feel peer pressure is the main culprit why India is lacking innovators and entrepreneurship. Innovation doesn't happen in a day and all your peers start earning much more with these IT jobs. These firms may be UGLY in US, but they are doing a very decent job in India.

No one will force ever to do a job, but there is something called as attraction that makes a job more lucrative, attarcted best brains of india to make them sit and take orders and work only IT...How come a civil engineer got selected for Infosys campus placements and is now a software engineer in Bangalore ? Are infosys HR's idiots or dumb ? Or is it something like they need a guy to get things done ? If all that they need is a guy who can get the job done, they should also have picked up guys from colleges with percentages less than 60%...what was the criteria ? No one one..and neither it had any standards in fact it had double standards..

Its not pressure or anything, but These giants killed the entire enterpreneurial spirit of Young and aspiring Indians..

I am trying to recollect how Infosys used to do campus hiring and the type of guys oit picked up to these IT work, Its now shocking to me that how low were the hiring standards and that narayana Murthy himself complains that India doesnt innovate when he know that he killed innovation in his training centers ...

And these are the same grade of Young Indians who went abroad and made some good progress, Now, do you want to compare the Indians abroad and their acheivements and their progress with Indians working in these MNC's ? forget about the trained stuff what they were taught but look at the enterpreneurial spirit and interpersonal skills, all time low and at rock bottom levels..
