There is no such rule

ma colleague ki 2+ yrs undi , company attorney said we can file h1 extension, only thing is kotha passport apply cheskuni adi ochaka apudu file chesadu h1 extn

Update: 

cbp office ni contact ayete teisina vishayam enti ante vallaki sambandam ledu, adi visitor problem, nedagara vunna extension document chupetadam. Office gadu adagali ani em ledu. 

So kotha i94 eppati varaki vundo appati varake legal. H1 ext tho vachina i94 assam. 

So bayataki poye malli raa 

vachetapudu, mind dagara petukoni i797 form chupetu ani reply echaru.

 

ekkada vunna vallaki use avtadi ani vestuna

Man h1 extn chesthe ur i94 will be extended, nenu cheyincha , ipudu my colleague is doing, same ne lagane poe lo kotha i797 chupinchaledu nenu, poe lo vadu passport lo unna visa date varaku i94 ichadu (which was oct 2016), kani h1 previous file chesindi i94 was valid till june 2017, so last yr my employer filed for h1 extn, my i94 also got extended along with h1 estn till oct 2019

You cn go to CBP office in airport and show your new I797...They might extend....

naku visa Oct 2017 varaku unde and passport expiry emo March 2017 varake unde...and nenu last year april lo India vellinappudu I94 March varake icharu because  of passport expiry date. Nenu december 2016 lo CBP office ki velli na situation chepthe...they gave a new I94 with expiry date as Oct 2017.

Already cbp ki email cheste ade chepparu. Nuvu chupetaledu adi ne prob so bayataki poye ra ani.

depends on the person.

 

Naa case lo kotta 797 e choopincha... intiki vachi chooste naakemo olda date ichadu naa wife ki new 797 batti ichadu. dis lo velli update cheyinchukunna. happened in 2015

akkada dis daggara inko family unde valladi aithe inko variety case unde.. picha navvu vachindi.. adhendhuku le ippudu.

 

after 1 year naa  friend ki same happened different poe.. i94 bisket. vadu dis ki contact chesi try cheste no memu cheyyam annaru. malli 1 week truvaata try cheste vachi kaluvu chooddam annaru. velte update chesi pamparu.
