actually if japan dint attack pearl harbor , the world would have been screwed for sure...  Germany was already secretly researching in to making an atomic bomb at that point tof time, even Heisenberg's research got funded by the germans ... oka vela US late ga enter ayyi untey Germans would have got the Atomic bomb first . there's a nice documentary that ive seen about the race between Oppenheimer and Heisenberg to make the first atomic bomb , its very interesting .... at one point of time americans even got a little frustrated with the progress that Heisenberg was making and planned to kill him when he went to give a speech in geneva ...
