This will become reality. If not in UP elections now, then later. Mayawati did the right thing by trying to attract muslim votes. but it may backfire, but there's always another time.

nenu cheppedhi only 12% vote tho one cannot win state. you have to talk politics of hope and aspiration and add new demographies into your ideology. whether that politician is successful in completing all aspiration of development is totally another thing. but atleast on must talk in that language and do/try few things.

akhlesh yadav seems to have succeeded in it. he seems to attract more youth irrespective of caste. while mayawati utterly failed in it

Is Modi talking politics of hope and aspiration? be honest. he's only crying and complaining all the time.

Mayawati has a hard time in this age of religious polarization, but she'll always have her base intact, and she can build on that, and strike when the time is right.

she won't indulge in religious polarization politics. simple.

dalits can vote strategically to benefit themselves during this time, but will always come back to Mayawati when she has the chance of winning. 

because the reality is, Indian growth has dipped, and job market has crashed. The incumbent party (at the center and the state) will have to take some blame. you can't keep saying Mayawati has failed failed. She just doesn't play their game.

she has million times more integrity than Modi, who is just powermonger and an incompetent buffoon.
