If you are on % right now, and if your FTE has 130K + 3 weeks PTO + 8 days public + 5% 401K match, that is some what equal to 90$ per hour in your hand (pre tax).

Above calculation holds good you never have bench days in between projects. 

All said is only in terms of money. FTE teesukunte future growth in to a directorial role or sr. manager ala kooda alochinchali. 

Already 9+ antunnav kabatti, after 3-4 years contracting will be tough for you. Job raadu anatledu, kaani almost same billing and again you compete with 7-10 years experience people. 

Ivanni kaadu, naaku already manchi billing undi, I dont want to get in to FT politics ante your call.
