You can look up the payroll of U of C employees on their website.Here is what i found:
1) The highest paid dean makes just shy of a million dollars a year.
2) 22 deans make more than the POTUS( $400k/year)
3) 211 of 493 deans (43%) make more than a US Senator( $175k/year)
4)The highest paid faculty makes $3.5 mil a year( a coach)
5) 38 employees make over $1 mil a year.
6) 511 make over $500k a year.
7) If you took a mere $12k from each of those that made over $500k a year( $12k a year isnt that much when you make $500k plus) It would save the same amount of money as shipping those IT jobs to India. Hows that for greed?

Hey Veterans, guess where USAA get's it's IT Work? Chennai India, HCL, At the HQ in San Antonio? Guess who runs the internal IT? HCL. That means lots of jobs that were USAA, veterans and the like, are now hourly HCL Contractors or SubContractors, cept for the bosses, they are HCL from India.

I have previously worked for a prestigious university and after working there for a while, It comes as no surprise if these schools started outsourcing jobs.

No one knows nothing and no one works better...forget best. For full timers, once they join the job, its like retirement for ever for them...
