guys, you didn't escape a 'secular' or a 'Islamist' society in India to come to the US.

you escaped a Hindutva society, even when Congress was ruling India.

So stop pretending that Hindutva will solve all problems of India.

Not agreed, anyone who born as Hindu or love it has right bro but of course with full intension to live in the society rather than boasting abt it.  Gaurakshak is mostly a business in norther states I hardly see any such thing telugu states. Gaushalas orgainized by Temples are more genuine.

Now you are just nitpicking. Atleast you agree that people sitting outside of India (especially people who took up military of another country) should refrain from attacking Indians living in India.

Okay well I cant say much abt MAVNi but NRIs are still indians right? I find it offensive to ignore our presence and contribution.

what is your contribution? to stifle dissent against govt?

like I said, what did you guys escape from in India? Its the same sh1t that you guys are supporting now - but under a different, louder party.

India is not a liberal society. it never was.

Single big thing is remittance.. remember what happened in 1991?

Most of us left India because we didn't have a job or in search of higher studies and obv. money but not because we hate the country and wanted to escape from it forever.

Why is it a such  a big hurdle to express our opinion. It has nothing to do with who was in ruling and who is now.

Man we are still Indians and Indian citizens and remember EC is trying to find a way to allow us to vote.

India was always a Hindutva bastion brother. with very little pockets of liberal elites in academia, and sometimes at the head of the executive.

Hindutva is responsible for the majority of problems India faces. whether it is from Congress party rule or BJP.

Hindutva's inflexibility to decide on whether to go the mercantilist route like China did in the 80s (after successfully annihilating its only opponents - the communists, in India), or take the western liberal democratic route is the problem.

That India has such low literacy rates is also because of such attitudes.

Almost everything india suffers from can be attributed to Hindutva opposition to the ruling elite. The recent secular opposition is the unavoidable reaction to the success of Hindutva forces to hold govt at ransom.

Are you going back to India? Say yes, and I'll never challenge you on anything.

If you are not going back to India, you are being dishonest in trying to push for Hindutva that has historically destroyed India. Earlier in  the Nehru - Gandhi period from the bottom up (rural and urban societies that defy every govt action). Now from the top down (because india is now ruled by Hindutva).

IDK if you are trolling.  How Hindutva was related to Nehru's Socialism? I agree without him India would have gone to chaos but sticking it for so long ruined us not Hindutva.  Can you give me some examples to prove your point?
