Ayya baabu antha scene ledhu. I finished Post-Graduation in 2001 and was a witness of all CBNs IT dramas.  Indian IT industry was growing at 200-300% between 1995-2004 and Bangalore was so overflowing with IT Ventures from USA that areas like Marathahalli which was considered outskirts of Blr became part of Blr Airport (Old airport).

At that time, there were several Tier-2 cities like Noida, Gurgaon, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata, Vizag, Chandigarh which were considered for IT expansion. CBN was lucky to be a crucial part of NDA Govt which was hell dependent on big coalitions like TDP. BJP could not object to CBNs dramas during that time and all Yellow pulkas like Nama Nageswara Rao, Murali Mohan, Ramoji, Narne estates etc & etc had a field day for over 5 years and looted in and out of Hyderabad.

Finally its not only Hyderabad, but there are several other cities like Pune, Gurgaon, Noida that were more successful than Hyderabad. In those cities no CM ever advertised as their personal achievement. 

Now coming to Vijayawada.....there is no chance at all as its image as caste hub is well known.

Gachi Bowli gurunchi chebithe kaasta excite ayya. There were many Central Govt Organisations like C-DoT, CMC (now acquired by TCS) in Gachi Bowli that were started well before CBN became CM.

CMC was a dream company for many during those days, they were having all high-tech projects like Image processing etc with them that were used for crime detection.
