Not just IT

Do you guys know that for last 1-2 years all major corporations are offshoring non-IT work? Most importantly Finance, and Accounting. Finance includes EPM processes and Accounting includes Accounts Payable. This is where most American jobs are being impacted as this is their strength.

So if someone hates Indian, don't just assume it is because of IT and blame IT guys. There is lot more than just IT. Go and talk to people who do financial reporting/accounting to higher management and you will know.

It is the corporations that wanted the concept of cheap work to satisfy the greed of share holders. So hate the corporations not the individuals. See big picture.

Gun pattukoni thirge vadiki evadu eh country oh telvadu first. They are not considered humans at all.

I am talking about some folks who think IT is main reason for hatred.

Now that you brought up the gun incident, I also wanted to tell one thing. The hatred you see in forums and the hatred you see in real world is completely different. None of it has anything to do with IT. The incidents we saw in last 2 weeks are related to robbery and hatred against all immigrants, not just Indians.

No man. It is one of the many EPM softwares. People use it for 10% of their work. May be they use  it 2-3 days in a month to feed the final amounts. Rest of the days they work on  figuring out the right numbers.

Correct. But in free markets like US where do we draw the line between capitalism and keeping the local employees in payroll?

not we... they need to draw a line.  so let their congress think about it and we can only think where to stand when line is drawn.
