I second your suggestion but most times managers/TL anni telise they rush you to finish the work..just my opinion being a TL..Most times TL also will become dummy because of pressure created by manager....vallaki cheppina ardham kadu ardham ayina they dont care....ANni telisina  TL agree ayina with dev/testing team they have to do it to save their job...TL communication skill to convince chesukovali most times..thats what i do

7th day roju evening...chetulu lepi padeyu...90% work ayipiindi...inkoka 10% vundi but I might have to re do some things and I can't promise ani...oka 3-4 days extend cheyamanu...

Talk to your team lead directly... don't go to manager... it becomes an escalation...

Give data points to TL... tell him actual efforts that are required... 

No one sets resources for failure until unless they are idiots...

First of all, what are his reasons for setting tight deadlines like this???
