GC ravataniki average ga 12 to 15 years padutundi. .from the time you applied (for people applied after 2007).. which used to take about 6 to 8 years before...

mare 40 50 years ani exaggerate chestunnaru bro... its not true...

max 15 years.. from the time you applied...

As per the present rules and regulations laid by Law and implemented by USCIS, people who have applied for GC's in 2008 are getting their hands on GC now...thats 9 year back log is the present scenario. 22 Jun 2008 is present date but under present rules, for people who have applied in 2008 but in december, it would take another 1-2 years atleast...thats like 2008 early got lucky already and 2008 late have to wait for long although both have failed in the same year. 

if thats the case in 2008...that cheap labor and MS who came in 2003-2004 will filed their GC by 2008 and started receiving GC's in 2017...under present scenario after you first arrived in USA, its taking almost 15 years. Just imagine number of applications filed after 2008 where there was maximum rush of application. 

unless and untill the present GC issue system is changed, expecting GC is almost two decades wait. 

If a person filed to GC in 2015, under present rules it would take atleast 25-30 years to get GC. so years of wait for GC anedi misconception kadu, realistic in contrast with present laws.

Imagine a skilled guy or cheap labor getting GC after 3 decades....whats left with him? whats could he do ? employment restrictions..Can't imagine working at a same place for so long...job changes, technology changes, life changing situations, so many things are tied to GC but the wait never ends..

its not exaggeration man, by current wait time and number of applications being dropped in every year for GC, the number keeps growing exponentially due to number of people coming to US.

example last year ki e year ki number of h1s enni apply chestunaro chudu, the numbers are rapidly increasing, vachina vallu enta mandi gc ki apply chesina 5% gc per country rule prakaram oka 1000 gcs per year ichina year ki 20k gcs apply chesina migatha 19k have to wait ala form aina line ipdu 20-30-40 years daka poyindi, adi matter.

True bro... the number of applications increased (particularly India). that's an estimate... in reality its not going to be more than 18 years (worst case sceanario) or else 15yrs...

but 20 -30 years is too long... hope its not the case.. but U might be right... makes sense... bro

with 65k h1b's every year and 20k h1b for MS quotas, since 2008 there are about 650,000 h1b's and 200,000 h1b's only in 'h'category of the visas and GC in other categories consider cheyakunda. Least lo least, oka 50% apply chesaranuko EB category la since 2008, that makes the number stand at 400,000 GC applications. with 4000 visas issues each year and looking at family based immigration, dependency, the number of new greencards is comind down.

For example, a person gets greencard and his wife also gets GC...that makes the count as two. Now, this is also a factor to be considered.
