it seems most of the muslim majority constutiencies in UP have voted in large numbers for BJP...deogarh,aligarh,rampur etc have got much more votes than what traditional BJP votebank expected...

I think Muslims have realised and started shifting their patronage towards BJP which is lease epxected but it is happening..

about time muslims start questioning things about the authenticity of islam. Did mohammed see an angel? what was angel doing in a cave? who is this angel? why cant we see it now? no prrofs, no objective proofs for islam lol. People are emotionally brainwashed till death to believe in after life.

Well, that's what muslims need to come over the ancient philiposphy and turn their beliefs on par with modern society..! All the religions have gone through a transportation process except  Islam. If the don't do it now, they can't ever align with a modern democratic society. Minority votes doesn't matter much in democracy anymore. Align with majority and become on par with modern society and leave the tag of being a secondary citizen just because you are pactising Islam. 

Time to move ahead, something which hasn't happened since Prophet Mohammad times. Time to reinvent sharia..time to re do their communal and religious tolerances, time to think of electoral politics beyond congress and MIM...

if they can't, they are the losers on a whole and on individual level. It seems most of educated and modern thinking Islam supporters have changed their loyalty to BJP putting begging congress as their traditional political ally. Things are changing with Muslim community and they need to transform and integrate into a modern society.

Yeah Hindus have not been voting one party and that's the reason there are so many parties in india..if Hindus voted for only ie party, then there would have been only BJP fighting against MIM..! 

Congres has been living on the divide of Hindu voters for decades now and winning over the crucial minority votes to comes to power. 

Hindus realized that's this is the problem in democracy and started voting majorly to BJP and everyone has problem with it now... 

i wonder how it was right all these days and if the right was happening, how comes it becomes wrong for the same concerned..

all your imaginary past grievances about Hindus is all in your mind only. Congress was a Hindu party, with Hindu leaders, and with majority (overwhelmingly) Hindu ministers in the cabinet.

They just provided a little parity to other aggrieved groups, which people like you couldn't tolerate, apparently.

anyway, now that you guys have gotten your favourite party, lets see how india does.

Yeah congress was the only party which provided support and relief to the contributors of the muzzafarnagar riots rather than helping the victims Hindus.

That was the turning point an dhindus completely felt bereaved by the congress party's politics and now, Its not once but twice proved by piublic mandate..once in 2014 and second time in 2017 that you can't appease minority cimmunity for vote bank politics..

If hindus have turned support compeltely to BJP, It would have won 403 seats in UP in 2017 and all 534 Lok Sabha seats in 2014...but that didnt happen because there was a multi point apporach when it comes to electoral politics.

To win a state election or national election , all that a party needs is 40%of the votes and they can clean sweep the results...when I say clean sweep, it 100% of the seats.

But if that was the case, BJP would have won with 100% of the seats which they contested..but that never happened..that means there are differences n opinions that BJP is not completely a hindu dominated party in country where Hindus form 85% of the population and all that itneeds is 41% of the votes.....practically that never happened..

85% people don't vote. even among those who vote, there are other considerations like caste.

ofcourse there was muslim vote bank...which played crucial role untill now...which the same has been decimated and now muslim vote is not part of politics...13% can;t decide the government...
