HC of TG mottikaya to KCR

The High Court has issued notices to CM KCR and his government today leaving him in a surprise. Let is check in brief about the reason for these notices.

We all know that CM KCR along with his family members had been to devotional place Tirumala Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. KCR has offered gold ornaments worthing 5.6 crores of rupees as his promise. He gave these from the Common Good Fund which is normally used for good purposes in the state or outside. This has not gone well with some Telangana activists like Kancha Ilaiah and G Ramulu. The Dalit activist Illaiah argues that the fund was wasted for no use despite using it for backward sectors. Social activist Ramulu added his voice to Illaih and they both filed a petition in High Court of Hyderabad. The HC took their petition and summoned notices to KCR today.

However, the Court Justice bench lead by Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice Akther have sent the orders. The government Advocate General K Ramakrishna Reddy has applied for 4 weeks time to file a counter from Telangana government. We have to wait and see KCR’s response on this issue.
