Nuvu chepina rotta movies ki Rotten Tomatoes gadu rating ivala. Because there is nothing new about that story. Kani konni technical elements vuntayi. Ipudu vi far superior vuntayi pata movies compare cheste. Anduku veltaru. King Kong 1930 movie and 2017 same story ani movie chodatam apestara?

my point is...1930's lo making kong is something great..but 70 years tarvata kuda same storyline ravadam not good...alaane super hero movies in 1940s is awesome as know one knew who a super hero is...alaage present age lo  creative movies ravatledu...there is nothing completely new coming up which no one ever imagined before

Eh point andari Directors ki telusu. Valaki no originality ani anduke vala strenghts evo avi vadukuntunaru. 

Kotha directors ki evadu munduku radu nenu original movie testa ante. Anduke most new directors will just use old stories and characters. Kochem establish ayaka apudu try chestaru. But andaru Lucas, Spielberg, Ridley Scott anta talented kadu kada.

Its hard to be original, when appealing to base instincts(fear, love, betrayal etc, the themes in supposedly great movies). I think market for that kind of originality is saturated.

Chris Nolan tries to go intellectual, but he's boring. The new TV show 'Legion' is a good example of something out of the ordinary in a superhero genre. guys like Nolan don't have the skills to make something like that.

I have seen only one film each of these two. They are definitely miles better than blockbuster directors like Nolan.

Since cinema is a visual medium primarily, these movies (among ones I saw) fit test of originality, than ones of Tarantino or Fincher.

like The Fountain, Upstream Color. 

In big budget movies/TV shows, I like ones that don't use movie cliches. Battlestar Galactica is my absolute favorite in sci fi shows. I also like movies that explore irrationality of humans in pursuit of power, like There will be Blood.

I don't have many examples to say what kind of movies I like.

I even like feel good movies like 'Safety not Guaranteed'.

yes.. Creativity + entertainment = great cinema...like steven spielberg's Jurassic Park or ET or Indiana Jones or Tintin..but nolan movies documentary laaga untai except batman begins...batman begins is the best movie of nolan
