Indian kings did invade and occupied many foreign countries and Hinduism expanded upto Malaysia/Philippines. Worlds largest Hindu Temple is in Cambodia, Angkor Wat and was built by some Tamil Kings. Myanmar was Hindu Nation and later became Buddhist. Similary like Indonesia, Thailand all were Hindu Kingdoms before being converted to Buddhist. Indonesia later into Islamic.

Same is the story with SriLanka, Bangladesh, Tibet, Pakistan which were once Hindu Nations now converted to Islamic and Buddhist.

Disunity, outdated war techniques, internal conflicts and Hindu Hierarchical Caste system have limited Hinduism to only the Present Indian territory.

Hinduism spread to other regions.  It was not by sword nor by intrusion it could be possible by philosophical terms and  Pak and Afagan were part of Chappana deshas which are part of Bharatavarsha and stayed independent.  

The basic principles of Hindusim do not even mention abt converting people.

The reason why Hindus never attacked other parts of world 1) Hinduism doesn't have those type of teachings where you go and convert people in the name of God.

2) Economy and resources wise Bharat was the richest if not 2nd richest country in the world up until 17-18th century. Why do one goes on exodus when you have everything in your land both wordly comforts and spiritual knowledge..

You are right. Hinduism in those countries is not by force due to Hindu ideologues but by brute force of the invading Hindu Kings. 

One can easily understand that there is nothing in Hinduism that will convert one into Hindu especially by Sword.
