రాజపుత్ర కుటుంబంలో పుట్టి.. ఆధ్యాత్మికతకు మరలి.. మఠాధిపతిగా ఎదిగి.. వరుసగా ఐదుసార్లు పార్లమెంటుకు ఎంపికై.. తన చిరకాల స్వప్నమైన ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్‌ ముఖ్యమంత్రి పీఠం అధిరోహించనున్నారు యోగి ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ (44). బీజేపీలోని ఫైర్‌బ్రాండ్‌ నేతల్లో అగ్రగా మి అయిన ఆయన గొప్ప వక్త. ఉద్వేగభరిత, ఉత్తేజపూరిత ప్రసంగాలతో వివాదాలు రేపి.. వాటితోనే అనునిత్యం సహవాసం చేసే ఆయనకు ఆర్‌ఎ్‌సఎ్‌సతో ప్రత్యక్ష సంబంధాలున్నాయి. ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ పూర్వనామం అజయ్‌ సింగ్‌. ప్రస్తుత ఉత్తరాఖండ్‌లోని గఢ్వాల్‌ జిల్లా పంచూర్‌లో 1972 జూన్‌ 5న జన్మించారు. శ్రీనగర్‌లోని హెచ్‌ఎన్‌ బహుగుణ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం నుంచి బీఎస్సీ పట్టా పొందారు. గోరఖ్‌పూర్‌లోని గోరఖ్‌నాథ్‌ మఠాధిపతి, హిం దూ మహాసభ అధ్యక్షుడు మహంత అవైద్యనాథ్‌కు ప్రియశిష్యుడు. ఆయన మరణానంతరం 2014 సెప్టెంబరు 14న ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ ఆ మఠానికి, హిందూ మహాసభకు అధిపతి అయ్యారు. గురు గోరఖ్‌నాథ్‌ దేవాలయానికి ప్రధానార్చకుడిగా కూడా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు. కేంద్రంలో బీజేపీకి మెజారిటీ ఉన్నందున అయోధ్యలో రామాలయ నిర్మాణానికి సానుకూల నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని పట్టుబట్టే బీజేపీ నేతల్లో ఆయన ముందు వరుసలో నిలుస్తారు.

 

మతమార్పిడులు..

యూపీలో ఎవరు అధికారంలో ఉన్నా.. ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ పలుకుబడి తగ్గదు. ముఖ్యంగా ములాయంసింగ్‌ సీఎంగా ఉన్నప్పుడు ఆయన పెద్దఎత్తున శుద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలు(మత మార్పిడులు) చేపట్టారు. 2005లో ములాయం సొంత జిల్లా ఎటావాలో 1800 మంది క్రైస్తవులను హిందూమతంలోకి మార్చడం పెద్ద వివాదమైంది. 2007 జనవరిలో జరిగిన గోరఖ్‌పూర్‌ అల్లర్లలో ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌కు ప్రమేయముందని పోలీసుల ఆరోపణ. మొహర్రం ఊరేగింపు సందర్భంగా ఓ హిందూ వర్గానికి, ముస్లింలకు మధ్య ఘర్షణ చెలరేగింది. రాజ్‌కుమార్‌ అగ్రహారి అనే యువకుడు తీవ్రంగా గాయపడి ఆస్పత్రిపాలయ్యాడు. అగ్రహారి ఆస్పత్రిలో కన్నుమూయడంతో నిషేధాజ్ఞలు ఉల్లంఘించి అహింసాయుతంగా ధర్నా ప్రారంభించారు. అయితే ఆయన అనుచ ర గణం రెచ్చగొట్టే ప్రసంగాలు చేయడంతో ఘర్షణలు చోటుచేసుకున్నాయి. పోలీసులు కర్ఫ్యూ విధించారు. ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ దీనిని ఉల్లంఘించారు. దాంతో ఆయన్ను అరెస్టు చేసి 14 రోజులు రిమాండ్‌కు తరలించారు.

 

ఆయన అరెస్టుతో ఉద్రిక్తతలు పతాకస్థాయికి చేరాయి. ముంబై-గోరఖ్‌పూర్‌ గోదాన్‌ ఎక్స్‌ప్రెస్‌ బోగీలను అల్లరి మూకలు తగులబెట్టాయి. ఇది హిందూ యువవాహిని పనేనన్న ఆరోపణలు వచ్చాయి. ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ను అరెస్టుచేసిన మరుసటి రోజే జిల్లా కలెక్టరు, స్థానిక పోలీసు అధికారి ఆకస్మికంగా బదిలీ అయ్యారు. ములాయం ఏలుబడిలో ఆయనకున్న పలుకుబడికి ఇదో నిదర్శ నం. విడుదలయ్యాక ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ తనను జైలు కు పంపడంపై ప్రభుత్వాలను లోక్‌సభలో నిలదీశారు. ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ గతంలో బాలీవుడ్‌ సూపర్‌స్టార్‌ షారుఖ్‌ ఖాన్‌ను లష్కరే తాయిబా ఉగ్రవాద సంస్థ నేత హఫీజ్‌ సయీద్‌తో పోల్చారు. ఆయన సయీద్‌ భాష మాట్లాడుతున్నారని మండిపడ్డారు. అలాగే రెండేళ్ల క్రితం.. యోగాభ్యాసంలో సూర్య నమస్కారాలు చేయనివారు భారత వదిలి వెళ్లిపోవాలని హెచ్చరించారు.

 

బీజేపీ నాయకత్వంతో విభేదాలు

బీజేపీ నాయకత్వంతో ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ ఎన్నోసార్లు విభేదించారు. రామాలయం అంశాన్ని తెరమరుగుచేసినప్పుడల్లా పార్టీపై విరుచుకుపడ్డారు. తూర్పు యూపీ(పూర్వాంచల్‌)లో ఆయనకున్న పలుకుబడి చూసి బీజేపీ నేతలు తప్పనిసరై ఆయనతో రాజీపడతారు. 2006 డిసెంబరులో లఖ్‌నవ్‌లో పార్టీ జాతీయ కార్యవర్గ సమావేశాలు జరుగుతుంటే... ఆయన గోరఖ్‌పూర్‌లో మూడ్రోజులపాటు విరాట్‌ హిందూ సమ్మేళన్‌ నిర్వహించి పార్టీకి సవాల్‌ విసిరారు. మహిళా రిజర్వేషన్‌ బిల్లును పార్టీ సమర్థిస్తే ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ గట్టిగా వ్యతిరేకించారు. మొన్నటి అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో తొలుత ప్రచారానికి దూరంగా ఉన్నారు. తనను సీఎం అభ్యర్థిగా ప్రకటించాలని పట్టుబట్టారు..

రాజకీయ ప్రస్థానం..
హిందూత్వ రాజకీయాలను ఔపోసన పట్టిన ఆదిత్యనాథ్‌ 1998 ఎన్నికల్లో తొలిసారి గోరఖ్‌పూర్‌ నుంచి లోక్‌సభకు ఎన్నికయ్యారు. 12వ లోక్‌సభకు 26 ఏళ్ల వయసులోనే ఎన్నికైన అతిపిన్న వయస్కుడిగా పేరు గాంచారు. అప్పటి నుంచి 2014 వరకు వరుసగా ఐదుసార్లు ఎంపీగా గెలిచారు. హిందూ యువతకు చేయూతనిచ్చేందుకు ఆయన 2002లో ‘హిందూ యువవాహిని’ని ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.

BJP did a caste experiment in UP and it worked perfectly and its a very sensitive situation. Yogi has a religious face which threatens none except minorities but other population feels very safe. Going by vote bank, minorities never was BJP vote bank and all other castes were united by religion although this is not the only winning factor but one of the many.

1990's and early 2000's..even until 2010..Votes bank was driven by "freebies". This is a temporary phase and it will not gurantee votes everytime. BJP was quick to realise that and did it away...other who still feel freebies van get them closer to power, will only remain in opposition.

Coming to FEAR...yeah, minorities has every reason to fear a hindu hardliner becomoing a CM...but let them fear, It will not affect the vote bank which is now being driven by religion. Minorities were never part of the ruling government and going forward, the regime will not be interested in some one who doesn't vote to them and claims of fear..let them be like that. Its their choice and lets respect their choice.

YOGI..immediate job is 2019...what happens after that, will he be successful in gaining majority of 80 seats, or not is definitely a litmus test for him. If he succeeds, he will stay and if he doesn't, change of guard is possible.

By Fear, I meant Hindu fear of muslim usurpation is the votebank. Its not a religious votebank, like people don't really feel any more 'Hindu' now than before. They just hate the other openly.
