Normally it takes around 8 to 12 months if they are in India..

if they are here it would be around 4 to 6 months

btw small question GC ochina enni yrs ki Citizenship apply chesaav? I had a question about time limit.. some say india staying time counts doesn't count and all.. konchem clarity ivvu...

2006 lo vacha ba ..got gc in 2010

nenu 5 years ayakane apply chesa..nenu just b4 getting gc went to India trip(US lo adugu pettagane 2nd day approved email vachindi ba).. gc vachaka asalu india trip or outside US poledu....okavela trip vesina just mention it in 400 application.. not a big issue..

finger print ayyaka booklets akkade untaayi tesukovachu valle istaru.. just they ask 6 questions in interview.. emina thappu answer isthe they go for 10 Qs.. vatillo 6 answer cheste chalu.. oka sentence raayamantaru oka sentence read cheyamantaru.. thats it.. next Oath same day or date cheptaru rammani.. jury duty inka padaledhu..

i find it very easy to get citizenship than to get OCI from our govt. CKGS make it very complicate..

yeah OCI process is little complicated compared to USC process.. anyhow this if for my family member... I dont haveclarity coz I ddint have GC before I got citizenship coz its through military and was very easy process...
