Am having some bank loan employees number.they will take care of all your docs. They will send the GPA format..require Notarized on this. Put GPA should be on the name of your Father or mother though they were not educated. There is not much thing to do on that. No need to go india. i heard that if you want you can do the registration online also .

But think taking house loan means you should payoff your loan in the next 3-5 yrs .Dont Surviive your whole life to banks.

Half pay and half loan is the good idea. But make sure on the investment you should get more ROI which should more than bank intersts  from intial period onwards
