Hi All

Can you please guide me in preparing for FT interview in Bay Area.

Back Ground: .Net developer with 7+ years experience (But was working on outdated tech stack (win forms) from last 4 years)
Here are the tech skills i have worked so far - C#, ASP.NET (2009- 2011), WCF(2012), Win Forms, Windows Services, Threading, SQL, Oracle (Mostly backend)

For full time jobs preparation is completely different, need to be good at Algorithms & DS

Please let me know the priority or main topics which i need to prepare

  1. Algorithms & Data Structures
  2. Problem Solving or Coding questions (Like string, array, linked list so on)
  3. ASP.NET Web API ?? (Got an idea how it works after going through Kud Venkat videos and Plural Sight)
  4. ASP.NET MVC ?? (Got a basic idea abt how this works)
  5. ASP.NET -- > Do i need to read this too??
  6. WCF ??
  7. Database (SQL and Oracle)
  8. Threading and Asynchronization
  9. LINQ & Entity Framework
  10. Design questions (Like design a parking lot, elevator.. kind of .. Any good sources for these kind of questions)
  11. Angular JS and No SQL (Not thinking to read this at all, want to read above mentioned ones first)

Your help is appreciated.

Entha chadivina avvatle, chadhivindhi after 2 weeks koncham marchipothunna (since not working on it or coding it)

Please let me know on which items i need to concentrate more so.

Bro...

Nothing can beat experience...that being said...

Apply for 100 .net jobs...for fulltime...you may get 5 interviews scheduled...then prepare for them a lot and then ...you will be at a point...where you can know...what you need to focus more...

Hope you understood...

Now coming to technologies...now angular js and angular 2 is in boom...

Learning mvc is good...but know web api and wcf...also...

Finally there is so much of competation for.net now in market...so try your luck...

Thanks Bro

I started angularjs once and stopped later. Is it ok to have partial knowledge or should learn that at a good level like a UI developer.

I am just looking at what to learn to clear the interview, after getting job working on angularjs should be fine.
