Narasimhan was a tough cop in his days...and is very active even after retirement. He is consulted on many issues from time to time by various governments especially on internal security where he is considered a matermind. He advised government on various issues like punjab millitancy, uttar pradesh law and order, telangana agitation, kasmir militancy etc...

Considered to be very close to Ajit Doval..

but if he can act properly he can approve/disapprove some major things as well..

 

hope BJP utilizes it properly. but after Abdul Kalam i see a deserving candidate at P-Level atleast.
