Commute vs public transport

Dbians need suggestion

i am working in a project from 1 yr which will last another 2 yrs with good billing. I am commuting in public transport now which cost 300$ per month. But the timings are odd so in order to be at office by 8.30 ii need to leave home by 6.30. But if i drive(usually zero traffic and highway) its 150 miles both ways and toll(5$) and parking 175$/month. But i can start at 7.30. Please suggest i am kind of having hard time taking train in both ways since my commute time by train is 5 hrs both ways. I will come back home 6.30PM(train) and 5.30 PM if i drive. Do you suggest driving.

can't you move closer to work? Can you ask for work for home for atleast 2 days a week?

daily 150 miles ante, month ki 3k miles, anni  miles plus driving for more than 2 hours daily is not safe and cost effective.

Any day any time public transport

Ah traffic ivvala undaka povachu other day untadi for sure. Diriving for such long time will make u more stressful vs travelling by commute.

I'm a commuter myself for past 4+ years even though sometimes I have flexibility to drive..

all you can save is 2 hours of commute and very less money...

your numbers are off.. you mean you can drive 75 miles, park and be in office in 1 hr? (7:30 - 8:30)

there are a lot of other factors you need to consider..

age? martial status? kids?

answer these, we can better advice..

rule of thumb: Public trnaspo is better.. you start reading books or do some research while commuting

alternate:

try to find car pools
