Ambedkar's never set timeframes for reservations. Its another falsehood spread by people.

He asked for separate electorates for dalits for a certain time. Their own govt machinery that works exclusively for dalits filled with dalit officers. The hindutva party of that day (the congress), denied it, and implemented reservations.

Now Congress after 2000, moved towards liberal politics a little bit, and now we have Hindutva 2.0 in the form of BJP. the ugly sickness keeps popping up again and again while Hindus smugly claim that their religion is the best.

no point blaming political parties. In fact, its nice that atleast some parties fight for dalits (even though its only for votes, but that is the whole purpose of representative democracy). The sickness is in the Indian public.. more specifically Hindus. That sickness is caste.

people claim that prosperity will wash away caste. I don't think it does. There's no end to what people want. They always wanting something better than what their neighbour has.

so let them fight for that. let them lose their limbs and lives too. Why should dalits just hand them victory on a platter? let their be a civil war.
